THe one on top is a James Hadley Chase book! It's called "Highway-ile Hippie". Highway Hippie I guess. Hehe.
ReplyDelete(I can sort-of-read Malayalam, but can barely speak it.)
Thanks Y!
ReplyDeleteI kind of want to learn to read/write Malayalam more after this. Imagine the possibilities.
Hi Masala chai:
ReplyDeleteThe first one is as it is written above is "Highway Hippie".The hippie is a character in many comics, with long hair and glasses and a guitar in hand.this one doesnt seem to have a guitar.he is a commonly seen in Boban and Molly,a series of comics in Kerala.
The third one says,
She,He by E.VAsu.The heart bindi is awesome.
Lakshmi : Boban and Molly! That sounds quite interesting. Someone needs to do a vernacular comical revival ! Thanks for the translation.
ReplyDeletevernacular comics I mean. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOoh, Boban and Molly is verrry funny. I had to get my mallu friend to translate though.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or does the lady in the last picture look uncannily like Hema Malini??
