Sikki Grass

The Sikki tradition of hand crafting originates from the rural regions of Bihar. They were essentially utilitarian pieces such as bowls & vessels used for storing rice, grain & lentils. Crafted from the sikki grass, they're dyed into eye catching colours like purple, magenta pink , bright yellow & deep blue for the more creative pieces like the ones above.
