Montreal based Anupama Swaminathan has a degree in Fine Arts and she put it to good use when she decided to launch her eponymous lifestyle brand Anupama. The line of products showcases the age old hand drawn Kalamkari technique with a contemporary flavour.
oh these are just gorgeous! I love the patterns and the texture of the fabric....would totally invest in these if she had a branch in Singapore!

ReplyDeleteSO beautiful, and true to being "kalamkari", unlike the kitsch block prints we see these days. I wish she sold them somewhere in Copenhagen too. I did a saree like this recently, where the pallu was in kalamkari.
